Our Goals

ABC’s Goal is to provide a variety of methods, based on principles of one’s learning abilities and preferences, to increase adaptive behavior and decrease the occurrence of behavior disorders of individuals, reduce the trauma or stress in one’s life, and ultimately provide healing to the individual entrusted to my care.

This benefits not only the individual but their network of family, service/educational providers, and community members as well.

The most important element of therapy is enhancing the individual’s quality of life. Other benefits include social acceptance by teaching behaviors that are valued by the individual and significant others around them, and functional in replacing the individual’s aggression, depression, etc. ABA emphasizes teaching social skills, language skills, educational and vocational skills, and coping strategies, such as relaxation training, problem solving and anger management.

Person-Centered Team Approach

ABC provides a person-centered team approach while working with everyone involved in the person’s life to ensure all their needs are met.

Healing has no timeline. Therapeutic interventions for those involved in traumatic experiences are focused on helping with coping, healing, and rebuilding self-esteem.

Substance Use Disorder therapy and assessment services are available. Substance Use Disorder supports aim at helping those in need of recovery interventions and methods to attain sobriety successfully and also lifestyle changes to ensure the changes remain over time for them.
